REBECCA BOONE PHIPPS

Rebecca currently serves as Art Director for Philadelphia’s major new Museum of the American Revolution, where she has worked since its opening in 2017. At the museum, Rebecca is responsible for designing all print collateral, advertisements, billboards, bus wraps, signage, and even several award-winning exhibits. Her most recent exhibition, the groundbreaking Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia, is on display now through Nov. 26, 2023. Previously, Rebecca worked at Alusiv in Old City Philadelphia as Senior Designer. During her 14 years at Alusiv, she designed brand identities, marketing communications in print and digital media, and exhibition graphics for a variety of clients. Prior to that, Rebecca worked at The Franklin Institute as a graphic designer and exhibit graphic designer for five years. She also does freelance design for such clients as Touchstone Center for Crafts, BluBlocker Sunglasses, and Camp Nejeda, among others. Rebecca graduated from Pennridge High School in 1992 and earned a BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University in 1996. Having grown up in the Perkasie area, she now lives in Hilltown, Pa., with her husband and two children, with whom she shares her passion for art history and love of going to art museums.

MARY HALL FOWLER

A Philadelphia native and Bucks County resident since 1978, Mary has pursued creative expression since her childhood in the sixties. Mediums ranging from drawing and painting to ceramics and weaving, sculpture and jewelry to paper making and photography, graphic design to woodworking and metal. Appreciating the elements no matter where and how they present themselves and then transforming them into something that creates emotional, visual and tactile connection-and hopefully bits of joy in the process. During the day, Mary is a Massage Therapist operating her own business, Hands2Nurture, in Dublin. She resides in Sellersville.
