MEET THE JUDGES

Tk Williams

Tk Williams is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bucks County. A Temple University alumna with a background in graphic design, sign making, fine arts, and illustration, Tk’s creative journey was limited while working and raising her child as a single mother. Now, with her own studio and the freedom to pursue her eclectic passions full-time, Tk’s current artistic focus is on watercolor and acrylic painting, drawing inspiration from the bucolic landscapes surrounding her. Her paintings capture the essence of the natural world, inviting viewers to step into the serene and sometimes surreal environments she creates.

Taryn Day

Taryn Day was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and moved to the Philadelphia area as a child. She earned a four-year certificate painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where she received the Ware Scholarship for European Travel. While raising two children, she continued to paint and exhibit while completing a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania. She’s been enjoying the quiet small-town life of Perkasie, PA since 1997. She has shown widely in the Philadelphia area for more than forty years, and offers painting and drawing classes at her Perkasie business, 7th Street Studios.

Alan M. Gold

Alan M. Gold has been drawing and painting his whole life. He has had one-man showings in Asia and the U.S.

His art is modern and sometimes bizarre. His media is most often acrylics and ball point pen. Alan retired from the business world in 2016. He now spends his time volunteering for charities and non-profits daily, playing sports, and attending live concerts of all different types of music. He also enjoys gardening and raising chickens and other animals.
