MEET THE JUDGES

Joanne Fabian

Photographer, Illustrator, & Gallery Owner

Eileen Bradley

Eileen Bradley graduated summa cum laude from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, with a dual degree in printmaking and painting. She paints in oil and acrylic, does reductive woodcuts, silk screening, and lithography. She also has experience in fiber arts and sculpture. In her spare time, she raised three children, worked a 30+ year successful career in municipal management, and is now happily retired to her painting studio.

Tricia Bowers

Tricia Bowers grew up in Bucks County and graduated from Tyler School of Art at Temple University, where she explored art in many media, particularly relief printmaking and abstract mixed-media works. As her post-college path took her into the mental and behavioral health fields for several years, Tricia continued to create, painting several commissioned portraits and various other projects. An active member of the Doylestown Art League, Tricia enjoys taking watercolor classes but reserves her full passion for mediums that emphasize physical texture, like thick paint, carving, and textiles.

Tricia lives in Sellersville and has attended the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts for many years. She’s excited to be a judge this year. Tricia believes that these events make everyone feel welcome and broaden their appreciation of art.

Joanne is a graduate of Pennridge. She started working at age 12 and put herself through college in Boston in the 1970's. She went to junior college to establish residency and then went to the Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she majored in illustration with a minor in photography. After graduation, she returned to PA where she built a business with illustration commissions and sports and portrait photography. She has sold her award-winning nature work at art festivals and stores. In 2017, she opened Art on the Hill in Souderton, a thriving, award-winning art gallery hosting and selling art for 30+ artists within a 30-mile radius. She retired from her business in 2021 and closed the gallery after losing her lease in January 2025.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION

Sellersville Borough and the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts committee have made the difficult decision to cancel our event this Sunday, September 20th, due to impending inclement weather. We are concerned that even with an indoor location, our artists and crafters would be subjected to weather which could damage their art when setting up and loading out.

We will be posting on socials throughout the weekend to bring recognition to everyone who registered and to thank our sponsors. We thank you all for your understanding and hope to see you next year.
